Rebellious Eyes

I first discovered Sephora when I went to Toronto a few years ago. Just waltz into the store not knowing it would be a beauty shopping Mecca and fuel my interest into makeup. Even though I haven’t venture into a Sephora store since my first encounter they are still a source of inspiration for me. They currently have up on their website, spring trends 2012 one being which is called rebellious eyes. It’s all black but smoky bringing the colour down a bit. I modified their look by making the eyes look more catlike to suit my eye-shape and making this more rocker chic.
I’m girly bad with my glitter tattoo!

    2. I'm with you on that. I've always been scared to use black since I am so fair skinned and don't want to look like a raccoon, lol. But I may have to venture out of my comfort zone. You should definitley use black more often now; it does look great on you! And your hair looks pretty awesome, too.

  10. Love the hair too-- the whole thing looks great! I finally learned how to do a smokey eye and I am having so much fun with it! I would recommend Bare Escentuals lipgloss in the color "Wild Honey" with a dark eye. It's a really pretty nude with an orange sheen.

Revlon Sculpting Blush Palette in Pink

I have never been so disappointed in a Revlon product before… until now! Maybe I chose the wrong colour for my skin-tone but there are so many other things about this palette that makes me think I should have bought some more lip butters instead. Let’s start with what I do love about the palette. It’s simple black compact that has the same sleek look as the other Revlon photo-ready items. I find a highlighter, contour shade and blush in one palette is a great idea too. Having more blush colour in terms of quantity with smaller sections for the highlighter and contour makes perfect sense since I will use more of the blush anyway. The colours as they appear in the pan look perfectly coordinated to work with each other. You get a small brush with soft bristles in your kit to ensure you can just pop this in your bag and you’re off.  In the sunlight Now here is where it all goes downhill like Jack and Jill with their pail of water. Let’s start with the swatches which made me think twic

Today's challenge utilizes the technique of dry water marbling to create your pattern. I'm doing a twist of it but doing a needle drag i.e using a needle or any fine point for just a smidgen of swirl to the colours used.
