I first discovered Sephora when I went to Toronto a few years ago. Just waltz into the store not knowing it would be a beauty shopping Mecca and fuel my interest into makeup. Even though I haven’t venture into a Sephora store since my first encounter they are still a source of inspiration for me. They currently have up on their website, spring trends 2012 one being which is called rebellious eyes. It’s all black but smoky bringing the colour down a bit. I modified their look by making the eyes look more catlike to suit my eye-shape and making this more rocker chic.

ReplyDeletethanks kristen! i love it! actually after i did this one, i really love using black now! before black was the eyeshadow colour i wouldnt use.
DeleteI'm with you on that. I've always been scared to use black since I am so fair skinned and don't want to look like a raccoon, lol. But I may have to venture out of my comfort zone. You should definitley use black more often now; it does look great on you! And your hair looks pretty awesome, too.

ReplyDeleteOh yes, this version of smoky eyes is not one where i feel i have the courage yet to go out with! Best left for photoshoots until i build up some courage! hehe. Do try and post pics on your blog, I would love to see yours!
DeleteYour skin looks so great here. I recently bought the prolongwear concealer as well. So far I'm really liking it. Amour is one of my fav nudes from L.a Girl.
ReplyDeleteI'm really into nude lips lately! Any recommendations for MAC or Milani nude colours? BTW i got the Milani mandarina! Amazing!!!!!!
DeleteLove the hair too-- the whole thing looks great! I finally learned how to do a smokey eye and I am having so much fun with it! I would recommend Bare Escentuals lipgloss in the color "Wild Honey" with a dark eye. It's a really pretty nude with an orange sheen.
