Happy Friday! Volume#6

Who doesn’t love a Friday? It’s the start to the weekend where we beauty lovers can get some more time to indulge in our stashes of beauty items. More so we get maybe some time for ourselves to just do nothing much or something extravagant! It’s also a time for me to share more about me to you that may or may not be beauty related. Feel free to share what you will be up to this weekend. Happy Friday!

Beauty Adventure? My good friend, Kimberly led me into the world of glitter tattoos. The process is simple; just some special glue, application brush, glitter and a stencil. Then glitter bomb!
Stencil
When I got home that day my 3 year old niece was in love with my Tinkerbelle and wanted one too! Unfortunately I couldn’t do it for her since I didn’t have any of the tools and she cried for the whole evening long! She thought it was just so unfair for me to have something so pretty and she couldn’t. Sad face. In case you live in Trinidad and want to learn how to do glitter tattoos for yourself or as a business check out the GlitzTat2 on facebook

Plans for the weekend? I’m looking forward to doing some new looks for you. The more I practice, the better I am getting with it. So look out for some crazy faces from me.
Also, I’m going shopping for some new MAC items from their new collections; Chen Man Love & Water, Mineralize Perfectly Finished, Vera, Shop MAC, Cook MAC etc. They should be available in Trinidad this weekend. Not sure what I want and what will be left when I get to the store. Wish me luck.
My own MAC Shop Ad! lol
Something about me? I love MAC! hehe
Happy Friday!
XOXO

Coffee Date Night with Bae

There are some simple pleasures in life that I enjoy. Coffee is one of them and a good lipgloss. Today I can have both of them together while we go for a date with bae! Sacha Cosmetics has blown me away with their new intense lipshine glosses and awesome names. I love when companies try to just be real with their customers even in these small details.

Hot Milk Sponge Cake with Fresh Fruit & Coconut

In today's yummy post we are doing an easy sponge cake (no creaming of butter and sugar involved). Instead of torting this cake we are using two loaf pans to give us our two layers, which we will pull together with vanilla buttercream. I love the rectangular look of this cake rather than the traditional round or square but more importantly the flavors of the toasted coconut on the sides and fresh fruit on top makes for a mouth watering dessert.

Wilton Royal Icing Recipe & Tip 21

Welcome back everyone! Today I'm sharing my replication of the Wilton method to making Royal Icing and some simple decorations you can make with the Wilton tip 21. This is an open star tip and can be paired with a simple leaf tip like a Wilton 352 to make small drop flowers.
