Happy Friday! Volume#5

Who doesn’t love a Friday? It’s the start to the weekend where we beauty lovers can get some more time to indulge in our stashes of beauty items. More so we get maybe some time for ourselves to just do nothing much or something extravagant! It’s also a time for me to share more about me to you that may or may not be beauty related. Feel free to share what you will be up to this weekend. Happy Friday!

Beauty Adventure? I finally took the plunge into the land of false lashes. But no I didn’t do them for myself, I got a pro to apply individual medium length lashes from Ruby Kisses for me. The process is very simple; glue, lashes, eye. It did feel weird like she was about to poke out my eye but the results are amazing! Take a look see.

Now here is where the problem starts, looking back at my natural ones they look so tiny! I don’t know how I can go back to not wearing them. And of course I want to experiment with them to be able to apply myself. So why not get a ton load of lashes right? Trini ladies, Catwalk currently has a sale and they have some crazy lashes, perfect for artsy looks! Expect some from me soon... well as soon as I can figure out how to apply them.
The fancy ones are from catwalk, rest are from pennywise and wonderful world
Plans for the weekend? Reading! Yes this beauty addict makes time to read. I just finished reading the first book in the Hunger Games and am onto the second. But I do read beauty magazines too, love Allure! Here’s a peak at the March’s cover.

Something about me? I love China Glaze! I have never bought a polish from them that I didn’t like. If you are a trini China Glaze lover, make sure to check out Wonderful World for the recent Prismatic Chroma Glitters and Magnetix collections. (So you know I can’t wait for the Capitol collection that goes right along with the Hunger Games books!). I restricted myself to only one bottle from each. Now someone tell me how to store my growing collection! This basket is obviously not working!
Liquid Crystal, Pull Me Close and Magnet
Happy Friday!

Revlon Sculpting Blush Palette in Pink

I have never been so disappointed in a Revlon product before… until now! Maybe I chose the wrong colour for my skin-tone but there are so many other things about this palette that makes me think I should have bought some more lip butters instead. Let’s start with what I do love about the palette. It’s simple black compact that has the same sleek look as the other Revlon photo-ready items. I find a highlighter, contour shade and blush in one palette is a great idea too. Having more blush colour in terms of quantity with smaller sections for the highlighter and contour makes perfect sense since I will use more of the blush anyway. The colours as they appear in the pan look perfectly coordinated to work with each other. You get a small brush with soft bristles in your kit to ensure you can just pop this in your bag and you’re off.  In the sunlight Now here is where it all goes downhill like Jack and Jill with their pail of water. Let’s start with the swatches which made me think twic

Marble Hearts: BCD Nail Art Challenge (Day 13)

Today's challenge utilizes the technique of dry water marbling to create your pattern. I'm doing a twist of it but doing a needle drag i.e using a needle or any fine point for just a smidgen of swirl to the colours used.
