Valentine’s Day Look

While I am not a big lover of the Valentine’s Day show, I also love the bright reds and pinks that are associated with this day. And of course I love the roses and chocolates and presents! Yippie. Ok so I guess I do love Valentine’s Day! Yes so out came those colours and I created a look with some underutilized pigments from Halener Rustique. It’s not something I would wear everyday but just maybe for this one night out.
Eyes
Halener Rustique pigments in Rosey (soft rose),
Cranberry ice (bright pink),
Concept (dark red)
Desire (red brown)
Sand storm (duochrome soft pink)
Face
Sacha cream to powder foundation in Perfect Caramel
L’Oreal Translucide loose powder in medium
CaraMia Blush in Fawn

Lips
Showing my love with my nails too
The look is basically lighter shades moving into darker ones. Hope you all have a lovely Valentine’s Day. I share my love with you all. Thanks for all the support!
Happy Valentine’s Day!
XOXO

Happy One Year Blogoversary!

One year already? OMG! Time really flies when you're having fun . I really enjoyed my one year with you. I've made new friends, improved on my nail and makeup techniques, tried new trends and products, discovered I love nail art (can you tell) and the list goes on. But most importantly I want to thank you all for your support and kind words that kept me going. Honestly there were some times when I was down since I didn't feel my articles and pictures were great but you stuck in with me and for that I say thank you. But I also would like to say thank you and to celebrate this achievement by my first ever giveaway! A Rafflecopter Giveaway

Revlon Sculpting Blush Palette in Pink

I have never been so disappointed in a Revlon product before… until now! Maybe I chose the wrong colour for my skin-tone but there are so many other things about this palette that makes me think I should have bought some more lip butters instead. I find a highlighter, contour shade and blush in one palette is a great idea too. Having more blush colour in terms of quantity with smaller sections for the highlighter and contour makes perfect sense since I will use more of the blush anyway. The colours as they appear in the pan look perfectly coordinated to work with each other. You get a small brush with soft bristles in your kit to ensure you can just pop this in your bag and you’re off.  In the sunlight Now here is where it all goes downhill like Jack and Jill with their pail of water. Let’s start with the swatches which made me think twic
