Sweet Hook on the China Glaze ElectroPop Collection

Hello all you China Glaze fans! I love me some China Glaze. One of their more recent collections, the ElectroPop collection is now out and available at our Wonderful World. This is a spring collection and consists of 12 shades. I was only interested in Sweet Hook which is a subtle, soft lilac colour.
Now what I noticed was that the formula of this polish was a bit thicker that what I normally experience with China Glaze polishes. So when I applied the first coat it took a bit longer to dry and then applying the second was a bit goopy. I did use the China Glaze Strong adhesion base coat before the two coats of Sweet Hook. The colour does appear a bit more lilac on the nails as it appears in the bottle.

Are you lovelies going to try any of these popping colours from the China Glaze Electropop collection?
Happy Popping!
XOXO
Naomi

I find a highlighter, contour shade and blush in one palette is a great idea too. Having more blush colour in terms of quantity with smaller sections for the highlighter and contour makes perfect sense since I will use more of the blush anyway. The colours as they appear in the pan look perfectly coordinated to work with each other. You get a small brush with soft bristles in your kit to ensure you can just pop this in your bag and you’re off.  In the sunlight Now here is where it all goes downhill like Jack and Jill with their pail of water. Let’s start with the swatches which made me think twic

Marble Hearts: BCD Nail Art Challenge (Day 13)

Today's challenge utilizes the technique of dry water marbling to create your pattern. I'm doing a twist of it but doing a needle drag i.e using a needle or any fine point for just a smidgen of swirl to the colours used.
