Lazy but Loving Valentine’s Day Manicure

Even beauty addicts get lazy or busy. I knew I needed to do something special with my nails but I didn’t have the time or patience for them. So out came the red polish and a Sally Hansen nail art pen in light pink. Woila! It’s just two coats of China Glaze Go crazy red polish with dots forming the words love with the Sally Hansen pen, topped off with a coat of seche vite. I think it’s so pretty in its simplicity.
Are you feeling the love yet? Hope so and happy valentines’ day!
XOXO

Maybe I chose the wrong colour for my skin-tone but there are so many other things about this palette that makes me think I should have bought some more lip butters instead. Let’s start with what I do love about the palette. It’s simple black compact that has the same sleek look as the other Revlon photo-ready items. I find a highlighter, contour shade and blush in one palette is a great idea too. Having more blush colour in terms of quantity with smaller sections for the highlighter and contour makes perfect sense since I will use more of the blush anyway. Marble Hearts: BCD Nail Art Challenge (Day 13)

Today's challenge utilizes the technique of dry water marbling to create your pattern. I'm doing a twist of it but doing a needle drag i.e using a needle or any fine point for just a smidgen of swirl to the colours used.
