Happy Friday! Volume#3

Who doesn’t love a Friday? It’s the start to the weekend where we beauty lovers can get some more time to indulge in our stashes of beauty items. More so we get maybe some time for ourselves to just do nothing much or something extravagant! It’s also a time for me to share more about me to you that may or may not be beauty related. Feel free to share what you will be up to this weekend. Happy Friday!

Beauty Loving this Week? Over this week I was testing out a lot of the new Revlon products I bought at SuperPharm. So far I am in love with the lip butters. And my Amazon Nars order came in on Monday! I love the sleek black packaging and velvet feel but can’t bring myself to use them just yet. Let’s put an end to that soon shall we?
NARS Gaiety Blush

NARS Mexican Rose Lip Pencil

Plans for the weekend? Carnival in Trinidad is such a colourful affair. I’ll leave the mas making for someone else. But I will do my best to incorporate some colourful makeup and nails to my long weekend. I will be on a beach somewhere with my family or perhaps on the rocks at Toco. I love taking a good book and find a nice spot on the rocks overlooking the ocean. The view is amazing!

Something about me? I love ice-cream lately! The month of February is not just my birthday but my sister and niece as well as my two BFF’s on work. Right now I am loving orange pine ice-cream. What’s your favourite flavor? Would you like some of mine?
Happy Friday!
XOXO
Naomi

Revlon Sculpting Blush Palette in Pink

I have never been so disappointed in a Revlon product before… until now! Maybe I chose the wrong colour for my skin-tone but there are so many other things about this palette that makes me think I should have bought some more lip butters instead. Let’s start with what I do love about the palette. It’s simple black compact that has the same sleek look as the other Revlon photo-ready items. I find a highlighter, contour shade and blush in one palette is a great idea too. Having more blush colour in terms of quantity with smaller sections for the highlighter and contour makes perfect sense since I will use more of the blush anyway. The colours as they appear in the pan look perfectly coordinated to work with each other. You get a small brush with soft bristles in your kit to ensure you can just pop this in your bag and you’re off.  In the sunlight Now here is where it all goes downhill like Jack and Jill with their pail of water. Let’s start with the swatches which made me think twic

Marble Hearts: BCD Nail Art Challenge (Day 13)

Today's challenge utilizes the technique of dry water marbling to create your pattern. I'm doing a twist of it but doing a needle drag i.e using a needle or any fine point for just a smidgen of swirl to the colours used.
