Happy Friday! Volume #1

Who doesn’t love a Friday? It’s the start to the weekend where we beauty lovers can get some more time to indulge in our stashes of beauty items. More so we get maybe some time for ourselves to just do nothing much or something extravagant! It’s also a time for me to share more about me to you that may or may not be beauty related. Feel free to share what you will be up to this weekend. Happy Friday!

Weekend plans? A makeup party with my cousin Amy! We girls love to get together and experiment with our existing makeup items. I did her makeup once and it was great! Check it out here. And if I get the time, I will catch up on my movie watching. My nieces want to see Alvin & the Chipmunks 2.

Any beauty splurges?  I was just casually strolling through the mall looking for food and popped into Wonderful World since there were so many pretty feathery things. I got the last Ruby Kisses 24 hour magic primer. Yeah! I also got me my first Revlon contour blending brush. Can't wait to start using this one.
The wonderful Revlon lady at Pennywise, Trincity Mall said the new Revlon items should be in store first week of February so I will be on the hunt for the new Revlon Colorburst Lip butters, 16 hours eye-shadow quads, crème eyeliners, photoready 3D mascara and sculpting blush palettes.

Just me? I can’t seem to stop the excessive amount of hair from my head from falling. Trying out the GNC women’s hair, skin and nails program.  I am hoping these vitamins will work!
Happy Friday!
XOXO
Naomi

  1. i believe in taking supplements for skin, nails and hair.
i just take daily combined pill with my multi-vitamins and i think it helps at least.
recently i've been using 100% botanical shampoo inbetween my usual shampoos and conditioner, and my scalp and hair looks so much better.

hope this GNC products work well for you! :)

Happy One Year Blogoversary!

One year already? OMG! Time really flies when you're having fun . I really enjoyed my one year with you. I've made new friends, improved on my nail and makeup techniques, tried new trends and products, discovered I love nail art (can you tell) and the list goes on. But most importantly I want to thank you all for your support and kind words that kept me going. Honestly there were some times when I was down since I didn't feel my articles and pictures were great but you stuck in with me and for that I say thank you. But I also would like to say thank you and to celebrate this achievement by my first ever giveaway! A Rafflecopter Giveaway

Revlon Sculpting Blush Palette in Pink

I have never been so disappointed in a Revlon product before… until now! Maybe I chose the wrong colour for my skin-tone but there are so many other things about this palette that makes me think I should have bought some more lip butters instead. Let’s start with what I do love about the palette. It’s simple black compact that has the same sleek look as the other Revlon photo-ready items. I find a highlighter, contour shade and blush in one palette is a great idea too. Having more blush colour in terms of quantity with smaller sections for the highlighter and contour makes perfect sense since I will use more of the blush anyway. The colours as they appear in the pan look perfectly coordinated to work with each other. You get a small brush with soft bristles in your kit to ensure you can just pop this in your bag and you’re off.  In the sunlight Now here is where it all goes downhill like Jack and Jill with their pail of water. Let’s start with the swatches which made me think twic
