Finding Immortelle Beauty

Let’s discover the foundation of youth shall we! Well the search for that still continues and in the meantime we can have immortelle beauty. While at the Chez Nous last weekend, I was delighted to meet the creator of the Immortelle Beauty products, Kathryn Nurse. She was proudly wearing the Go Local badge on her soft white shirt.
I first tried just the smallest amount of the foot lotion on my hands. Yes I know it was foot lotion but well I wanted to try anyway. Boy was I amazed! This left my hands moisturized for the rest of the day! Seriously! For the hand and body lotions, the smells were tantalizing. These come in fresh citrus, plum and cranberry! You can also get these as scrubs and body wash.
After trying out these lovelies I was more than compelled to not leave here without some goodies. If you want to take the plunge into the land of immortelle beauty try checking out their website or facebook page. She is hoping to expand her line of products soon. I can’t wait to see what new she has in store for me!

Revlon Sculpting Blush Palette in Pink

I have never been so disappointed in a Revlon product before… until now! Maybe I chose the wrong colour for my skin-tone but there are so many other things about this palette that makes me think I should have bought some more lip butters instead. Let’s start with what I do love about the palette. It’s simple black compact that has the same sleek look as the other Revlon photo-ready items. I find a highlighter, contour shade and blush in one palette is a great idea too. Having more blush colour in terms of quantity with smaller sections for the highlighter and contour makes perfect sense since I will use more of the blush anyway. The colours as they appear in the pan look perfectly coordinated to work with each other. You get a small brush with soft bristles in your kit to ensure you can just pop this in your bag and you’re off.  In the sunlight Now here is where it all goes downhill like Jack and Jill with their pail of water. Let’s start with the swatches which made me think twic

Marble Hearts: BCD Nail Art Challenge (Day 13)

Today's challenge utilizes the technique of dry water marbling to create your pattern. I'm doing a twist of it but doing a needle drag i.e using a needle or any fine point for just a smidgen of swirl to the colours used.
