Shopping at T&T Salon Supplies

I love online shopping and usually do so at least once a month but there are the usual disadvantages such as the delivery times and shipping costs that make the item not worthwhile to purchase from the online source.
While at the Caribbean Nail and Beauty Show I was introduced to this local supplier T &T Salon Supplies that caters for my girly needs. They do have a website but in my opinion it is not updated with all the products they provide but you can check them out yourself at
I am just starting out with practicing my nail designs so these fake fingers are ideal to insert an artificial nail into for my practice sessions. They look scary but they do their job well.
My second purchase were these finger or nail stands that are great for getting each nail their individual attention they deserve. I got both of these items at $2TT for one. Talk about a deal!

If you do your nails every week like me you probably run through nail polish remover in a snap or for the klutzy side of me always manage to knock over the bottle or just pour out way too much. I have been looking everywhere for the cute nail polish dispenser bottles and finally found it here. Can’t remember the price but it should be no more than $10 TT.

Now for my prized purchase that made my discovery of T&T Salon Supplies worthwhile. Yes folks we can actually get SecheVite here. I got the SecheVite dry fast top coat for only $29.95TT. I was just about to order these online! Now I know it’s just a top coat but it’s supposed to be really great. I mean the bottle came in a box with its own instructions. Seriously!

Lastly in case Wonderful World ever runs out of China Glaze, T&T Salon Supplies will gladly fill your needs. I usually pay $30TT for a bottle but got these two beauties for $20TT each.
Their bag that wrapped up all my goodies shows that there are 4 locations in Port-of-Spain (Wrightson Road & Golden Doors Plaza), Chaguanas (Ramsingh Plaza) and Arima (Woodford &Farfan Street). Just note that at expos the prices may vary from the store price (usually a bit cheaper at expos)
I am going to Arima this weekend so I’ll be sure to see what other great stuff they have for nail lovers.  Happy Shopping!

Revlon Sculpting Blush Palette in Pink

I have never been so disappointed in a Revlon product before… until now! Maybe I chose the wrong colour for my skin-tone but there are so many other things about this palette that makes me think I should have bought some more lip butters instead. Let’s start with what I do love about the palette. It’s simple black compact that has the same sleek look as the other Revlon photo-ready items. I find a highlighter, contour shade and blush in one palette is a great idea too. Having more blush colour in terms of quantity with smaller sections for the highlighter and contour makes perfect sense since I will use more of the blush anyway. The colours as they appear in the pan look perfectly coordinated to work with each other. You get a small brush with soft bristles in your kit to ensure you can just pop this in your bag and you’re off.  In the sunlight Now here is where it all goes downhill like Jack and Jill with their pail of water. Let’s start with the swatches which made me think twic

Marble Hearts: BCD Nail Art Challenge (Day 13)

Today's challenge utilizes the technique of dry water marbling to create your pattern. I'm doing a twist of it but doing a needle drag i.e using a needle or any fine point for just a smidgen of swirl to the colours used.
