Road Trip to SuperPharmTrincity

I have always loved SuperPharm for its spacious aisles, variety in products, being a one stop shop and of course the fact that you can touch and feel the items for yourself unlike other stores where you have to ask for assistance (hint hint).
The newest branch of SuperPharm is located in Trincity much to my delight. For my first trip to it I just followed the road as if I was going to the mall (from the highway)but at the roundabout just go straight ahead and in about 1 minute or 2 you will come to the SuperPharm building on your left (right after the Republic bank on your right).

No problems for parking at 5 o’clock in the evening and I’m in the store. I see the security on the outside so no need to worry about the car. Warm greetings as I enter the store. So far so good!I think they purposefully designed the store so that you meet the cosmetics section as soon as you walk in the door to trap customers like me! So true to their website, www.superpharm.co.tt they carry the brands of Revlon, Loreal, Black Opal, Black Radiance, Nicka K, Sacha Cosmetics, Jordana, and Maybelline. I didn’t see any Physicians Formula or Styli-Style thoughL. I’ll be sure to check back in case I missed it while drooling over the vast display of makeup.

If you look closely you can see missing spots already especially for the section that holds the Revlon Colorburst lipsticks. As part of the new opening of this location they have different specials on and at this time the Revlon Colorstay 12hour eye-shadow quads were at 50% of the regular price. Of course you know I grabbed one right? For $22.99TT I got the eye-shadow quad in Gems and Jewels.

Still on news for the makeup fans, Sacha Cosmetics has some new items and strange enough they couldn’t be found at the Image Centers yet. Second Skin foundation and Kamaflage foundation can be found here in new bottles. You can see them in the pic below. You can also get the updated black packaging in the Sacha eyeshadow singles and quads for some of the colours.

Moving onto hair lovers, I was really impressed with the wide variety of items from brands like GarnierFrutis, L’Oreal, Tresemme and others for their hair care items. If you want hair tools and accessories, then Goody and Conair will help you out.

Now these were just the items I was interesting in at this time but there is also an assortment of skin care products, shampoos and conditioners, treatments, hair dyes, nail polishes etc. They have the Ecotools single brushes and sets and as its Christmas time various gift sets such as from Bath and Body. I’m sure you will find something to love.
So when you done with all your makeup purchases make sure you stop by this aisle to get something to put all that makeup in. Super cute cases!
To end the experience I must say the staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. They didn’t have the Neutrogena makeup remover I wanted though but searched to make sure it wasn’t hiding somewhere. I did feel a bit crowded though since everywhere I turned someone wanted to help me but I guess that beats not getting any help at all. Some of the prices did seem a bit too expensive.
I really loved this new location, close to the mall and with so many things to see I’m surprised I didn’t buy more stuff. Go check then out for yourself. Happy Shopping!
XOXO
Naomi

Revlon Sculpting Blush Palette in Pink

I have never been so disappointed in a Revlon product before… until now! Maybe I chose the wrong colour for my skin-tone but there are so many other things about this palette that makes me think I should have bought some more lip butters instead. Let’s start with what I do love about the palette. It’s simple black compact that has the same sleek look as the other Revlon photo-ready items. I find a highlighter, contour shade and blush in one palette is a great idea too. Having more blush colour in terms of quantity with smaller sections for the highlighter and contour makes perfect sense since I will use more of the blush anyway. The colours as they appear in the pan look perfectly coordinated to work with each other. You get a small brush with soft bristles in your kit to ensure you can just pop this in your bag and you’re off.  In the sunlight Now here is where it all goes downhill like Jack and Jill with their pail of water. Let’s start with the swatches which made me think twic

Marble Hearts: BCD Nail Art Challenge (Day 13)

Today's challenge utilizes the technique of dry water marbling to create your pattern. I'm doing a twist of it but doing a needle drag i.e using a needle or any fine point for just a smidgen of swirl to the colours used.
