New Baked Products, Multitasker & Paint Palette from Milani

Hello beautiful dolls! Guess what I spotted yesterday at Wonderful World? Yes after about 6 months later the newest products released from Milani are now available to us here in Trinidad. Milani although considered in other parts of the world as a drugstore brand, for me they are in the mid range. I adore their regular line up of nail polishes and blush in particular. For a bonus the Liquif’eye metallic pencils released this year are so amazing.
So first up is the Paint Palette which I think is a genius idea for a makeup palette. The 7 colours are all matte. What made me laugh was that this palette was supposed to be a limited edition one available on July of this year only. See what I mean about us receiving new products 6 months after the released date? Anyway I think this can be a super cute Christmas gift. There are also the neon nail polishes but since its Christmas time I’m not into these but more glittery ones.
Third item is The Multitasker Face Powder. It’s packaged in their gold cases with the mirror to the bottom. This one didn’t really jump out at me to get them. Just walked on by.
But these babies, ohh la la were screaming my name! The new baked metallic and marble eye-shadows looked so exotic in their black cases as compared to the regular gold ones. They still have that round brush in the case that never works for me.
The baked blushes are also in store and my tip to you is to get there quickly since they were already flying off the shelves from the early Christmas shoppers. Get your running shoes. Ready, set, go! I wish you the best in luck getting the shades you want. Merry Shopping!
XOXO
Naomi

Revlon Sculpting Blush Palette in Pink

I have never been so disappointed in a Revlon product before… until now! Maybe I chose the wrong colour for my skin-tone but there are so many other things about this palette that makes me think I should have bought some more lip butters instead. Let’s start with what I do love about the palette. It’s simple black compact that has the same sleek look as the other Revlon photo-ready items. I find a highlighter, contour shade and blush in one palette is a great idea too. Having more blush colour in terms of quantity with smaller sections for the highlighter and contour makes perfect sense since I will use more of the blush anyway. The colours as they appear in the pan look perfectly coordinated to work with each other. You get a small brush with soft bristles in your kit to ensure you can just pop this in your bag and you’re off.  In the sunlight Now here is where it all goes downhill like Jack and Jill with their pail of water. Let’s start with the swatches which made me think twic

Marble Hearts: BCD Nail Art Challenge (Day 13)

Today's challenge utilizes the technique of dry water marbling to create your pattern. I'm doing a twist of it but doing a needle drag i.e using a needle or any fine point for just a smidgen of swirl to the colours used.
