Ate Logo at the Shops of Arima

Guess what I did yesterday during the middle of the work week? I went shopping (after work of course)! I always seem to find beauty in unexpected places. So I usually pop in at the Shops of Arima for home stuff but this time I was blown about by how much the place has improved since my last visit. There is a whole new sort of mini mall now! Reminds me a bit of Grand Bazaar.

Now onto the fun stuff, the Ate Logo store was the only one here that got my attention. It looks brand new and shiny but what really fascinated me were the brands now available here. You can get my love Steve Madden! Oh Steve! He’s coming closer to home now. It’s a good thing he looks like the brother I already have or else I was taking this mister home!

Besides my good buddy Steve for shoes, you can find my BFF Nine West too! I was in heaven right! Well it got even better there was also a wide array of brand name handbags such as from Guess and Nine West and the icing on the cake was being able to find them in animal prints. Matching animal prints for shoes and handbag, seriously take note this is what I want for Christmas!

Even though I was just window shopping it’s really great to see such variety and stores stepping up their game introducing new and exciting pieces for their customers. You can be sure I will be back here soon! Go check them out soon! Happy shopping!
XOXO

Revlon Sculpting Blush Palette in Pink

I have never been so disappointed in a Revlon product before… until now! Maybe I chose the wrong colour for my skin-tone but there are so many other things about this palette that makes me think I should have bought some more lip butters instead. Let’s start with what I do love about the palette. It’s simple black compact that has the same sleek look as the other Revlon photo-ready items. I find a highlighter, contour shade and blush in one palette is a great idea too. Having more blush colour in terms of quantity with smaller sections for the highlighter and contour makes perfect sense since I will use more of the blush anyway. The colours as they appear in the pan look perfectly coordinated to work with each other. You get a small brush with soft bristles in your kit to ensure you can just pop this in your bag and you’re off.  In the sunlight Now here is where it all goes downhill like Jack and Jill with their pail of water. Let’s start with the swatches which made me think twic

Marble Hearts: BCD Nail Art Challenge (Day 13)

Today's challenge utilizes the technique of dry water marbling to create your pattern. I'm doing a twist of it but doing a needle drag i.e using a needle or any fine point for just a smidgen of swirl to the colours used.
