So Deliciously Forbidden with MAC Posh Paradise Mattene Lipstick

What did you do this weekend? Well I took a rather impromptu visit to West Mall and of course I never regret such trips. For me a trip to the MAC store is a must for me (along with a Burger King stop!). Now while I feel like I already live in a paradise, MAC’s Posh Paradise collection is quite impressive! I love the array of vibrant rich colours of the lipsticks, nail polishes and paint pots.

Trying to stick to my budget I only allowed myself one piece and got a Mattene lipstick called Deliciously Forbidden. How do they come up with these names?
Either way I say it is an accurate description of this colour. I love the sleek black packaging and velvet feel of the lipstick tube.
This lipstick has a semi-matte finish and is indeed more moisturizing than a normal matte lipstick. But besides that the colour is absolutely stunning! Take a look.
I would describe this colour as a midtone berry pink and I can see myself wearing this to work. Actually that’s what I did and I got many a compliment on my new lippie colour. I had to reapply after lunch but that lasted me straight through into my evening class until I got home (roughly 7 hours).
While I am getting a bit overwhelmed with all the new collections from MAC at the same time I am totally loving it. Of course all the great paint pots I wanted were sold out in store so now I’m off to see if by chance I can get ‘Nubile” at their online store. Wish me luck!
XOXO

  3. yes it's lovely, really exotic! I find the colour also gets darker once you layer it on. I have been using this colour for this entire week so far.

Maybelline Color Tattoo and Loreal Infallible Eyeshadows! Plus More!!!

I can go for weeks, maybe a month without buying new makeup. I have that discipline but all that goes to south (I’m a north girl) when new products come out to play and particularly when I was literally stalking the stores to see if there was a sighting of the new Maybelline color tattoos. Come back next month. Ask me again in two weeks time. These were the comments I kept getting but finally there are here and what better way to celebrate their arrival by going nuts and buying their showcase neighbours as well, the Loreal infallible eye-shadows. I love Pennywise!
