Simple Black Pumps from Steve Madden

I first discovered Steve Madden shoes when I was on vacation in Miami. My cousin took me into this exquisite store that took my breath away. I came out with none of his shoes in hand at that time but he certainly left a huge impression with me.
Low and behold Steve Madden shoes revealed themselves to me locally at West Mall. I don’t even know the name of the store since I have renamed it the Steve Madden store. And yes besides the MAC store, this one is a must see for me on any visit to West Mall.
I always go in and never buy since his shoes are a bit on the pricey side but a girl can look. However, I’m such a lucky girl that I have friends that pay attention and decided to get me these simple black open toe pumps for Christmas 2010. I’m guessing they were on sale but were probably around $600-700TT.
Over the last year these pumps have been my BFF, go with me almost everywhere, never leave my side and always make me feel confident and beautiful. Did I mention tall too? Dolls, you can’t go wrong with investing in a good pair of black heels. He takes me from office to evening wear in a snap.
So if you're ever up to meeting my good friend Steve Madden go check him out at West Mall. You just might meet your next BFF too!  Think I will get lucky again this year?
Happy Shopping!

  2. Yeah I usually say to myself if I have to buy one pair of shoes how much MAC makeup can I get for the same price? I normally go for the makeup! Let someone buy me the shoes, they make great presents!!!

Revlon Sculpting Blush Palette in Pink

I have never been so disappointed in a Revlon product before… until now! Maybe I chose the wrong colour for my skin-tone but there are so many other things about this palette that makes me think I should have bought some more lip butters instead. Let’s start with what I do love about the palette. It’s simple black compact that has the same sleek look as the other Revlon photo-ready items. I find a highlighter, contour shade and blush in one palette is a great idea too. Having more blush colour in terms of quantity with smaller sections for the highlighter and contour makes perfect sense since I will use more of the blush anyway. The colours as they appear in the pan look perfectly coordinated to work with each other. You get a small brush with soft bristles in your kit to ensure you can just pop this in your bag and you’re off.  In the sunlight Now here is where it all goes downhill like Jack and Jill with their pail of water. Let’s start with the swatches which made me think twic

Marble Hearts: BCD Nail Art Challenge (Day 13)

Today's challenge utilizes the technique of dry water marbling to create your pattern. I'm doing a twist of it but doing a needle drag i.e using a needle or any fine point for just a smidgen of swirl to the colours used.
