Colour Me Purple with Wet N Wild Petal Pusher

So continuing on with my purple phase came the purchase of the Wet N Wild 8 colour palette called Petal Pusher. I have tried WnW products before and somewhere along the line they dropped off my radar. But they’re back! With a bang! I have to admit that I really have seen how this brand has grown and matured. They are producing beauty that is affordable.
While I love the array of purple shades in this palette I have to admit that there is fallout galore especially with the glittery ones but that hasn’t really bothered me so much since this palette is so cute. The small size makes it ideal of travelling but the plastic packaging maybe a cause for breakage. So far so good for me though. I also love the concept of writing where each shadows go on the actual shadows since it makes it easy for a newbie (like myself) to know where to put them. Of course you can do as you please.
The back of the palette also comes with instructions on how to use the different colours to achieve different looks. Again helpful info for a newbie.
Swatch time!

What really made me fall in love with this palette is that it helped me produce a winning look. I used all the colours from the left hand side. Just to note purple is supposed to be a shade that looks great on everyone. Well it worked for me! So do you have love for the colour purple?

Revlon Sculpting Blush Palette in Pink

I have never been so disappointed in a Revlon product before… until now! Maybe I chose the wrong colour for my skin-tone but there are so many other things about this palette that makes me think I should have bought some more lip butters instead. Let’s start with what I do love about the palette. It’s simple black compact that has the same sleek look as the other Revlon photo-ready items. I find a highlighter, contour shade and blush in one palette is a great idea too. Having more blush colour in terms of quantity with smaller sections for the highlighter and contour makes perfect sense since I will use more of the blush anyway. The colours as they appear in the pan look perfectly coordinated to work with each other. You get a small brush with soft bristles in your kit to ensure you can just pop this in your bag and you’re off.  In the sunlight Now here is where it all goes downhill like Jack and Jill with their pail of water. Let’s start with the swatches which made me think twic

Marble Hearts: BCD Nail Art Challenge (Day 13)

Today's challenge utilizes the technique of dry water marbling to create your pattern. I'm doing a twist of it but doing a needle drag i.e using a needle or any fine point for just a smidgen of swirl to the colours used.
