Think Pink- Revlon for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is designated as Breast Cancer Awareness Month and our local Revlon is promoting this month with a free T-shift with your purchases of Revlon products. Part of the proceeds goes to support for breast cancer.
So for me I opted to purchase my Revlon products at my favorite Pennywise branch in Trincity Mall. The beautiful Revlon representative there briefly explained the promotion to me before proceeding to assist me with choosing the right products for my mom and I. All we needed to spend was $125 in Revlon products which is so not hard to do!
I use Revlon’s Colorstay face powder in medium deep but choose to try out some of their other items. I am in a lippie phase at the moment so I choose their Colorburst lipgloss in Hot Pink. For my mom, the Colorburst lipstick in Soft Rose was the ideal everyday shade. To complete my order I tried something new so went for the Colorstay Mineral finishing powder in Suntan Matte to use as a highlighter and then their Antiqued Gold eyeliner pencil with built in smudger. I really loved the fact that their rep was extremely helpful, absolutely knowledgeable about all the products and provided us with the best customer service I ever got in this store!!!!!!
Once I paid for my items (and of course a few more non-Revlon products) this cute pink T-shirt was all mines! Pink has always been my favourite colour. So this month I will be rocking my new T. You choose whichever way suits you best to show your support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  Just Think Pink!

Revlon Sculpting Blush Palette in Pink

I have never been so disappointed in a Revlon product before… until now! Maybe I chose the wrong colour for my skin-tone but there are so many other things about this palette that makes me think I should have bought some more lip butters instead. Let’s start with what I do love about the palette. It’s simple black compact that has the same sleek look as the other Revlon photo-ready items. I find a highlighter, contour shade and blush in one palette is a great idea too. Having more blush colour in terms of quantity with smaller sections for the highlighter and contour makes perfect sense since I will use more of the blush anyway. The colours as they appear in the pan look perfectly coordinated to work with each other. You get a small brush with soft bristles in your kit to ensure you can just pop this in your bag and you’re off.  In the sunlight Now here is where it all goes downhill like Jack and Jill with their pail of water. Let’s start with the swatches which made me think twic

Marble Hearts: BCD Nail Art Challenge (Day 13)

Today's challenge utilizes the technique of dry water marbling to create your pattern. I'm doing a twist of it but doing a needle drag i.e using a needle or any fine point for just a smidgen of swirl to the colours used.
