OH, OH, OH My MAC!

So this was another item I purchased from the recent MAC me over collection. It is a lustre lipstick and is a sort of plumy bronzy colour all wrapped up in one bundle of joy. Did I mention I am crazy about MAC lipsticks? Well I am so much a pink girl so branching out into new colours is something I forced myself to do and hence the choice of this colour over the gorgeous pink one called Offshoot.
The colour itself I am not crazy about but it is something that you can wear everyday without your lips screaming for attention. I do find myself having to reapply though very often. But overall it is consistent with the quality of Mac lustre lipsticks.
While I have never had any regrets with any MAC products I do wish I had bought Offshoot instead. At least I would have had my pink and all would be well in my world.  Give it a try though; it just might be your cup of tea! I’m off to find a new pink cup!

Let’s start with what I do love about the palette. It’s simple black compact that has the same sleek look as the other Revlon photo-ready items. I find a highlighter, contour shade and blush in one palette is a great idea too. Having more blush colour in terms of quantity with smaller sections for the highlighter and contour makes perfect sense since I will use more of the blush anyway. The colours as they appear in the pan look perfectly coordinated to work with each other. You get a small brush with soft bristles in your kit to ensure you can just pop this in your bag and you’re off.  In the sunlight Now here is where it all goes downhill like Jack and Jill with their pail of water. Let’s start with the swatches which made me think twic

Marble Hearts: BCD Nail Art Challenge (Day 13)

Today's challenge utilizes the technique of dry water marbling to create your pattern. I'm doing a twist of it but doing a needle drag i.e using a needle or any fine point for just a smidgen of swirl to the colours used.
