China Glaze- Street Chic

China glaze is my favorite brand of nail polish that I discovered this year. They have a wide range of colours and the consistency of the formula is easy to work with.
Street Chic 997 is a dark brown crème colour that was launched in their Fall Metro collection 2011. The colour is very opaque so that just one application can give you an intense colour but I used 2 coats to get the opacity I wanted. The formula is easy to work with and I had no problems with its application onto my nails.
Do I like it, love it, leave it or it’s just OK: Verdict- I love it. Street chic is an interesting colour and works well with most outfits. China glaze does not disappoint.

Let’s start with what I do love about the palette. It’s simple black compact that has the same sleek look as the other Revlon photo-ready items. I find a highlighter, contour shade and blush in one palette is a great idea too. Having more blush colour in terms of quantity with smaller sections for the highlighter and contour makes perfect sense since I will use more of the blush anyway. The colours as they appear in the pan look perfectly coordinated to work with each other. You get a small brush with soft bristles in your kit to ensure you can just pop this in your bag and you’re off.  In the sunlight Now here is where it all goes downhill like Jack and Jill with their pail of water. Marble Hearts: BCD Nail Art Challenge (Day 13)

Today's challenge utilizes the technique of dry water marbling to create your pattern. I'm doing a twist of it but doing a needle drag i.e using a needle or any fine point for just a smidgen of swirl to the colours used.
